Big Changes, Big Dreams—And a Studio in the Making!
Well, friends, buckle up because we’ve been on quite the rollercoaster lately! 🎢 As some of you may know (or maybe you missed the memo), my beloved studio is no longer where it once stood. Due to lease negotiations that didn’t quite pan out, I had to pack up shop. And when I say, "pack up shop," I really mean that my studio is now strategically scattered- a little in the garage, a little in storage, and a little sprinkled throughout the house… much to my husband’s dismay. 😅
But here’s the exciting part—after some serious searching, we finally found the perfect spot to call home! And when I say “perfect,” I mean perfectly imperfect—a little bit of a fixer-upper, nestled in the countryside, filled with potential, and ready for us to make it our own.
📍 Four acres of land 🏡 An 800-ish square foot abandoned house (soon to be my dream studio!) ✨ Big renovation plans
Over the next year or two, we’ll be rolling up our sleeves, channeling our inner general contractors, and getting this space ready for my new creative home! And that’s not all—eventually, we plan to build a brand-new house here so we can escape (well, kind of) from the hustle and bustle of city life.
I am beyond excited to take you along for the ride! Expect plenty of renovation updates, DIY triumphs (and inevitable mishaps), and a whole lot of creative chaos. If you want the fastest updates, be sure to follow me on Instagram or Facebook for the real-time, behind-the-scenes magic. ✨
here’s to new beginnings! 💛
First thing that went was the monstrosity of a cedar bush. Couldn't even see the house completely.
Now we can see what we're working with!
Dumpster number 1, there is SOOO much debris to clean out. We have everything from old sheds, a collapsed trailer house, and cars left behind. This doesn't even include the construction debris when we start inside. So our first dumpster was delivered and filled within 2 days.

Our first visitor! He just comes and visits eats some grass and leaves. He belongs to our next-door neighbor. It's pretty cool, and hilarious. We get a person detected notification and here's a cow.
